Batwoman: The Lesbian Superhero We Deserve

My most recent article for Film School Rejects finally got my editor to tell me “good job!” (Just kidding he’s nice. Sometimes).

I dig deep into the recent announcement that the CW will be picking up a new series starring the DC character Batwoman — a Jewish woman and out lesbian with extreme, specialized-fighting skills. A mouthful, but an exciting one for sure.

And look for Kate Kane’s Batwoman as she makes her first ever live-action debut in December during this year’s Arrowverse crossover. I don’t even watch or enjoy the CW’s DC lineup but that’s definitely about to change.
