Official trailer from HuffPost:
Michael Moore has made waves as both a fervent political activist and an acclaimed documentary filmmaker. Most people in my generation will most clearly remember his 2002 doc Bowling for Columbine about the massacre at Columbine High School in 1999. The pic earned him the Oscar for Best Documentary Film in 2003.
Moore is also known for Fahrenheit 9/11, which to this day is the highest grossing documentary of all time. The anti-Bush doc may be quickly upstaged, though, by Moore’s upcoming feature Fahrenheit 11/9.
The doc will center around the election of D*nald Tr*mp and the terrifying landslide of events that followed. In my article, I discuss Michael Moore’s past in terms of politics and incendiary media, as well as some highlights from the exclusive trailer for Fahrenheit 11/9 (link above).
This fascinating film will premiere at TIFF this year, and will be released in the US on 9/21. I’m anxiously excited to see what sort of response the documentary feature will have among liberals and conservatives alike.
